The AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course with Texas Rescue Med is designed for healthcare professionals who care for critically ill or injured infants and children. This hands-on, scenario-based training emphasizes a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics. Participants will enhance their skills in managing respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiac arrest, preparing them to respond confidently in real-world pediatric emergencies. Successful completion earns an AHA PALS Provider Certification, valid for two years. This course is ideal for paramedics, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers in emergency, critical care, and pediatric settings.

Course Topics Include:

• Pediatric assessment and systematic approach
• Respiratory emergencies and airway management
• Recognition and management of shock
• Cardiac arrest and arrhythmia management

Prerequisites:

• Current AHA BLS Provider certification
• Knowledge of basic pediatric rhythms and pharmacology is recommended
